Transforming Leadership
As a leader, my personal mission statement is "to glorify God by equipping and mobilizing leaders for national transformation." I have committed to investing my life in working with the Lord as He raises up a body of leaders who are, first of all, radically transformed by God's life-changing Word, and who will, in turn, dedicate their lives to the transformation of our beloved country in keeping with God's purpose and plan for her.
I am personally inspired by the apostle Peter's example in the area of transforming leadership as reflected in 1 Peter 5:1-4. From the passage, we can glean at least five things that he possessed which helped him become an extraordinary leader who touched and transformed others' lives and turned the world upside-down for Christ.
Transform World India Connection
March 30 - April 1, 2007
The Transform World: Fellowship of the Committed meeting grew out of a conviction felt at the TW: India 2006 Conference, Hyderabad, October 24-28, 2006. In response to the eagerness and commitment expressed by Conference servant catalysts to facilitate State-wide TW events, it was suggested that a Follow Up meeting be first convened to prayerfully consider next steps. 35 men and women representing a spectrum of Focus groups and states in India, therefore gathered to hear what the Lord was saying to us as His Body in and for this particular season towards Transformation in India.
The two-fold objective of this meet were to (1) inform, educate, hear, cheer-on and pray for transformational streams in the nation of India and (2) to prayerfully plan dates and action plans towards State-wide events in 2007 and 2008. The program was therefore generally open ended allowing time for reflection, sharing and informing the group, of significant "transformational stories" that were occurring in the country. Brief seasons of prayer dotted the conference program.
