Transform World e-Newsletter :: February 2007
Volume 2, Year 2007

Many Servants of God receive the same message and revelation entering the year 2007 Observing the transformation movement that happened in nations has affirmed us in what is written on 2 Corinthians 3:18.

The foundation for a transformation to happen is when God’s children in a nation/region/city/district have a common need and desire, which then result in God’s visitation (revival) and followed by the renewal & progress of all things which will be significant in society, economy, culture and the law. Immediate restorations can be distinctly seen and felt.

  • United Prayer. Prayer movements that is now happening in all across the world is a sign that the churches of God are willing to hold hands with one another and to humble themselves before Him and this is in answering to our Lord Jesus’ prayer (John 17:21-23).

  • The All Nations Prayer Convocation in Jerusalem, which is from the twelve gateways of the world with Jerusalem as the center, followed by the Western, Eastern, Northern and Southern Gates Prayer Convocations continue to excite the continents in United Prayer for Transformation.

Currently, I am busy preparing the Prayer Convocation for Asia Oceania which will be held on the 20th – 23rd of February 2007 in Suntec City, Singapore. In this Convocation, more than 50 nations will gather in prayer movement for the transformation with the theme: “Prepare the Way for the King of Glory”.

Three things that need to prepare:
    1. The Altar must be built.
    2. Calling the nations to gather.
    3. Reconciling with God.

  • Global Day of Prayer in the year 2007 will be held concurrently on May 27th in all continents, countries and cities.

  • Prayer movements in cities, among the children and youth networks, the women and family networks are rising up everywhere.

  • Prayer movements in churches are also growing because God’s people and His servants have paid the price for the local movement which has impacted towards a greater harvest. These movements are appearing and happening like never before.

We need to seriously pray for the meetings and preparations of the Transform World in this year 2007. Everywhere across the world.

A ccording to Hebrew calendar, the year 2007 is the year of “Zamekh Zayin” which is

  • The year when the swords clash; and for us this is the year spiritual-warfare, yet what God promises us are victories.
  • The year of the Holy Spirit - for us, the work of the Holy Spirit will happen mightily, as in the early church (Signs and Wonders).
  • The year of Quacking and Shaking - there will be many shakings and quakes in the life of the church and His children. Yet God promises that He will heal us, those who have the right focus, with Faith, Hope and Love.
  • The year when God will be exalted; for us, praises and worship are in our throats and the double edges sword (the Word of God) is the weapon that will bind up the kings/strongmen. This means that through praises, worship and the Word of God, the devil will have to release all man who are in bondages and free them. This is a year of repentance for many souls.
May the Church of God experience something that has never happen before, which is the great Glory of God coming upon His church.

All the glory must be to The Lord!

UNDERSTANDING TRANSFORMATION (1)

God’s message:

The Spirit of the LORD will suddenly take control of you. You’ll become a different person and start prophesying right along with them (1 Samuel 10:6)

A person will never find the new seas if they don’t have the courage to leave the land.

In this first journey, we will start to learn about the meaning of transformation. The word transformation is made up of ‘trans’ and ‘form’. ‘Trans’ means from one side to the other side (across), or beyond. ‘Form’ is an object. Transformation has the meaning that changes to an object are more than changes or beyond the changes to the exterior packaging only.

In the Old Testament, The Hebrews words hapak that has the meaning of transformation was translated into the Indonesian version of the New Testament, with different meaning. In 1 Samuel 10:6, there is an example about a transformation that occurred and experienced by Saul. According to the verse, Saul was transformed into another person when the Spirit of God uses its power on him. Verse 9 says that God changes his heart. It means that there is a transformation of the heart inside Saul.

In the New Testament, there are two Greek words that have the meaning of transformation. The first word, metamorphoo has the same instances as in Romans 12:2. In this verse, Apostle Paul advised his followers not to be like the people of this world, “…. But let God change the way you think…” The word metamorphoo in English is Transform, which means transfiguration. That is to say to have been completely changed to glory just as Jesus was glorified. (Example when Lord Jesus was completely changed in Matthew 17:2 and Mark 9:2). The second word metaschematizo was translated to be changing these poor bodies of ours like His own glorious body (Philippians 3:21). There is no wonder that transformation is often illustrated as total changes from cocoon to butterfly.

Thus, Christian’s transformation is changes in the life from one that is incompatible with God to one that is harmonious with God (John 14:6). True Christian transformation is in fact, changes that are blessed by the wide community. As in the example, crooks, corrupt person who repented must first blessed their family, and these reduce the number of crimes in their communities and nation. Another example is the transformation of land into a fertile land that increased agricultural production and improved the economy in Almolonga, Guatemala. This is because the people return to the true God who blessed those who believe in Him.

Such Transformation in a complex society (same religious or different belief) has the potential for Christian services and remains very relevant. Since such service did not look for self gain, such as expanding own kingdom (Christian Community) so there is no need to become a threat to other communities. Since God Kingdom and all his blessing is the objective, servicing is to get communities from different culture and tradition to enjoy. Such service has great potential and of great blessing.

In the concept of transformation, changes are not just in individual, but also in the communities. Changes that is right, is not exclusive to individual. God love is directed to part of the communities, nation and the whole world that is laden with sin (Matthew 28:19; John 3:16).

Transformation is not a fashion coming to an end, which is discarded because there is something trendier. The history of mankind since Adam and Eve falls into sin has not stopped because of transformation. The bible has been interesting and relevant since the whole time, because it not only talks about stories that are captivating but most importantly, it has the power to transform its readers. Decadence due to sin, has bring mankind to destruction and death. Transformation due to meeting with God that bring people back from sin, safely and alive.

ESSENCE
Definition of transformation according to source:

Hapak (Hebrew): Changes to be better

Metamorphoo (Greek): Changes to full of Glory

Metaschematizo (Greek): Total changes such as from caterpillar to butterfly

REFLECTION
Have you experience the process of transformation or minimum, just began to enter the process of transformation

COMMITMENT
I want to enter the process of transformation in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.
