FTT and Bible Translation Among the UUPG
Bihar Meeting on January 23-24, 2oo8
This symposium of Church Planting organizations affiliated with the Transform World Network of Bihar was called for after conversation in October with Alex Philip which focused on the importance of vernacular Scriptures to church planting and discipleship.
Dr Alex called together leaders representing approximately more than a dozen Indian church planting organizations working in Bihar to this consultation on the strategic importance and connection between Finishing the Task (FTT), Unreached and Unengaged People Groups (UUPG) and Bible translation.
Transformation in the Market Place
The church is the light of the world, but marketplace is the heart of the city. To be able to conquer a city or a country, we need to conquer the marketplace. In order to renew a city, total transformation in the marketplace is needed and Christian businessmen have to play the key roles.
If we have a job, it means we are in the marketplace. Whatever our job is, God has a purpose to transform our marketplace through us.

CONELA, the Evangelical Alliance of Latin America, is made up of pastoral alliances, ministers, denominations, and the leaders of Christian service agencies (NGO's) in Latin America. It has a vision for transformation which causes it to embrace the Transform World Movement.
