Unity in Diversity
In the Frame of Nation's Transformation
Unity is a must for transformation. Disunity only results in people's disintegration. That's why Lord Jesus, in His prayer for His disciples, asked to the Father "so that they will be one."
Based on the type or kind of unity, we can at least talk about doctrinal unity, spiritual unity, and functional unity.
God's Promise About Transformation
In the Bible, God expresses His care to the city, even though the city is wicked. God sent Prophet Jonah to the Nineveh city to ask them to repent. Nineveh city is the enemy of Israel but God still loved them. God asked Jonah, "Should I not be concerned about that great city?" (Jonah 4:11). Jonah obeyed God's word and because of that Nineveh city was saved from God's anger.
God is really concerned about all the cities and nations, and He has strategies for us to take the cities from the devil's kingdom, so that the cities can enter God's Kingdom. Now He is looking for His people who love their cities and nations and want to fight for their safety. Declare to our nation that God has visited other nations in a mighty ways and that our nation will not be deserted. If we repent, pray, stay united and spread God's word with the ordination from the Holy Spirit, our nation will not be deserted. We will be visited by the power of God and will experience big harvest as promised by God. Let us spread these words, because hearing of God's word will create faith and with faith, nothing is impossible for the believers.
What is a Transformed Nation?
Part II
There are various ways to answer that question, depending on which lens you are using. As we approach this topic we do well to adopt the watchword "transformed and always transforming" to remind us that transformation is a process and not realized in fullness until Jesus comes.
We have discussed the first 12 lenses of transformation in previous newsletter. Now we are going to discuss the second 12 lenses of transformation.
